Macallan M Series

The Macallan M Series Decanter display case is a groundbreaking design by Scott Jarvie. He was tasked to create a luxury packaging product, fully made in Scotland, for the famous whisky brand. The striking design focuses on manufacturability, cleverly using 2 identical parts to create the form, and minimising machining operations. The CNC machined solid oak ends house all the hinges, magnets and holders for the crystal decanter and ‘dress stopper’, whilst the aluminium shells create the sculpted form. The shells are removable for recycling using an allen key housed withing the timber ends, thereby minimising the end of life footprint.
